Pastor Peyton Fitzgerald
Pastor Peyton is a native of Lynchburg, VA and his wife Tammy is from Hamilton, Ohio outside the Cincinnati area. Peyton graduated from the Institute of Biblical Studies at Liberty Baptist College in May of 1984. Peyton and Tammy met in October 1985 and they were married May 23, 1987. Their first daughter, Heather was born November 12, 1989 and their second daughter Emily was born June 1, 1993.
Peyton worked in a management position at J. Crew for 9 years and was active in the ministry on a part time basis. Peyton has served part time in the ministry for approximately 14 years and full time for the past 9 years. He was ordained into the gospel ministry on November 19, 1995.
Tammy is a 2002 graduate of Amherst County Bible Institute where she had the privilege of studying under Dr. Paul Fink. Along with assisting Peyton in youth and family ministries, Tammy has over 6 years experience as a church secretary.
On April 22, 2007, Peyton became the pastor of Corner Stone Baptist Church. The Fitzgerald's live in Madison Heights with their cats and black lab Trooper.
