I commonly practice in the Franklin County, Bedford County and Pittsylvania County Courts. The legal services that I provide are as follows:

Family Law

Child custody and visitation
We will help you develop and implement custody and visitation arrangements that are in the best interests of your children, while protecting your rights as a parent.
Child support
Though the legislature has, in great measure, taken this issue out of the hands of lawyers and has established certain support guidelines, we can help ensure that the support you are ordered to pay or are to receive is based on a correct calculation under the guidelines.
Alimony / spousal support
We can help you determine whether spousal support is appropriate and, if so, the amount, frequency and duration of those payments.
The division of marital assets
We are well versed in the principles governing equitable distribution in Virginia and will help you implement an agreement that provides for the fair distribution of marital assets, including real property, investments, retirement plans and business assets. In the event that an agreement cannot be reached, we will inform the court of the nature and value of the marital estate, and present this information in a way that will make it easy for the judge to appropriately and equitably distribute the estate.
